Fees and Insurance Information
Investing in your mental health and relational well-being is one of the most important steps you can take for yourself and your loved ones. Therapy is an investment that can bring lasting growth, healing, and healthier relationships. Below is an overview of my fees and how I can help you navigate the process of reimbursement if you have out-of-network mental health benefits.
My Fees:
Individual Therapy: $210 per 50-minute session
Relationship Therapy: $250 per 50-minute session
Family Therapy: $400 per 80-minute session (I offer only 80-minute sessions for family therapy (3 or more participants) to ensure we have enough time to work through family dynamics and achieve meaningful progress.)
Insurance and out-of-network Reimbursement
We are considered an out-of-network provider for all insurance providers. We can provide a superbill (a detailed invoice for services provided). You can submit the superbills to your insurance provider for any reimbursement that may be available based on your insurance plans.
We partner with Thrizer.com to streamline the process and make it as easy as possible for you to receive reimbursement for therapy services. Thrizer helps with submitting claims to your insurance company, and you can get reimbursed for part or all of your therapy costs, depending on your plan’s coverage, at no extra cost to you.
The Benefits of Out-of-Network Therapy:
Flexibility and Choice: When you go out-of-network, you have the freedom to choose the therapist who is the best fit for you without being restricted by insurance provider networks. You can invest in therapy with someone who understands your unique needs and specializes in the areas important to you, such as relationship dynamics, cultural identity, and LGBTQ+ experiences.
Confidentiality: With out-of-network therapy, you maintain greater control over your treatment without the need for your insurance company to get involved in your personal and sensitive mental health information. This can offer a greater sense of privacy and trust within the therapeutic relationship.
No Limits on Sessions: Insurance often imposes limits on the number of sessions you can attend each year. By paying out-of-pocket, you avoid these restrictions and can engage in therapy as long as you feel it is necessary to achieve your goals.
Investing in Your Mental Health
Therapy is an investment in yourself, your well-being, and your relationships. Taking the time to work on your emotional health, personal growth, and relational connections is a meaningful step toward creating lasting change in your life. While it may seem like a financial commitment, the long-term benefits—such as improved communication, reduced stress, and healthier relationships—are priceless.
By choosing therapy with me, you are not just investing in your personal growth; you’re also choosing someone who will listen carefully to your unique experiences, honor your identity, and provide a safe space to explore and heal.
